" i joined the club so that i could learn all about various asian cultures and talk to other mchs students about their experiences growing up asian american. there's a lot of diversity of our school and we hope to make it so that we can celebrate the students here and build connections with everyone ! " i joined aasu during my sophomore year (when it first started) because i was acquainted with one of the officers and i had a lot of fun! it was the perfect balance of discussing social justice issues for some meetings and playing fun games for other meetings :D my main goal is for everyone to feel comfortable in our club and to learn more about other cultures! i hope to have fun and make lots of memories with everyone this year! ^^ "
